PharmEng requires a CMM Engineer / Programmer on an hourly rate contract basis for one our client site based in Cork. The position will be for 12 months initially.

Responsibilities

  • Standardize site wide CMM infrastructure by facilitating, encouraging and coordinating continuous improvement.
  • Support day to day manufacturing requirements with respect to CMM’s
  • CMM programming (modification/ control/ transfer of programs)
  • Work with inspection engineering group to develop future CMM strategy
  • Organize and control the calibration program for CMM’s
  • Assist engineers with qualification and validation of new or changed CMM’s
  • Develop and support training program of internal resources to an appropriate level
  • Proficient in writing and editing CMM programs (PC-DMIS/COSMO/CALYPSO)
  • Proficient in set-up and operation of inspection equipment
  • Proficient in metrology methods/technology


Education / Experience:-

• Certificate / diploma in Quality / Manufacturing / Engineering
• Minimum 3 years in CMM programming PC-DMIS/COSMOS/CALYPSO programming experience desirable.
• Knowledge of 21 CFR 820, 21 CFR 11 and European regulations associated with the medical device industry preferable
• Familiarity with statistical analysis software.
