A permanent vacancy currently exists for a Supply Chain Production Planner/Scheduler.This role is primarily responsible for optimising production planning and scheduling to ensure all customer requirements are met in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • �Review forecast information and customer orders across two manufacturing facilities and develop production plans for each plant to meet these demands.
  • �Review capacity utilisation across the plants and manage volume to optimise use of available capacity
  • �Develop detailed production schedules by work centre.
  • �Optimise the use of resources to support efficient manufacturing operations.
  • �Issue and maintain manufacturing orders .
  • �Determine and communicate order confirmation dates.
  • �Review product freshness and determine potential usage of ageing product.
  • �Identify opportunities for preloading of inventory to facilitate consistent load distribution in dispatch.
  • �Co-ordinate daily production meetings for the Cork facilities.
  • �Identify and coordinate rework opportunities.
  • �Maintain Master data as required from a Planning Perspective.
  • �Develop and maintain production order policies to optimise plant efficiency and working capital requirements while ensuring product availability to meet Customer demands.
  • �Complete monthly inventory review and classify potential risk accordingly.
  • �Proactively review inventory to identify opportunities to minimise obsolescence.
  • �Identify inventory for disposal and cross change.
  • �Support new product introductions through the provision of timely and accurate information to the NPI process.
  • �Develop and maintain GCS documentation and ensure full compliance.
  • �Successfully complete SOX and GCS audits as required.
  • �Develop and maintain comprehensive suite of KPI's and Mgt reports including performance to schedule measurement.
  • �Provide cover as required across the planning area.
  • �Support the development and implementation of OH initiatives within the Planning and Inventory department and across the broader Supply Chain.
  • �Support development of world class production planning processes and systems.
  • �Support Planning and Supply Chain projects as required.
  • �A requirement of the role is that you must adhere to all PepsiCo Health & Safety Requirements

  • �Third Level Qualification in a Supply chain or relevant discipline required.
  • �Previous Production Planning experience in a high volume FMCG manufacturing environment required.
  • �Prior experience in use of SAP an advantage.
  • �Excellent Communication and Team Working Skills required.
  • �Excellent PC and excel proficiency skills required.
  • �Well organized, attention to detail with ability to work on own initiative.
