Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for the preparation and supply of chemical raw material to the production process
Mixing and blending of the raw material in an Industrial environment
Monitoring quality of incoming chemicals and their use on-site
Co-ordinate work of Chemical Technicians Responsible for quality testing of product Liaise with other Departments ensuring quality of supply of material to production
Ensure good record keeping and compliance with company
Production System Responsible for implementation of Continuous Improvement initiatives
Ensuring compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental and ISO Quality Standard
Education and Skills:
Third Level Degree in Industrial Chemistry or related qualification required
Experience in bulk / batch processing of chemicals in a production environment is an advantage
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Strong interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and problem solving ability.
This position is not primarily laboratory based. Ideal candidate must have experience in raw material preparation and relevant education qualification.
