This is a key function in the Service Supply Chain based in Cork, and requires a highly motivated person, self starter with a driven passion to succeed. The key areas essential to this role are strong planning & purchasing knowledge with in-depth understanding of MRP execution allied with Supply Vendor base, Logistics (both forward and reverse), allied with relevant Service Credit & Warranty redemption experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure material availability to meet or exceed 97% of orders fill.
• Weekly MRP execution & review
• Daily Backlog management.
• Weeks of Supply management.
• Escalate issue & initiate appropriate corrective actions when applicable
• Repair versus New Buy management
• Daily Discrepancy Data Base management
• Manage weekly MRB control and execution.
• Continuously review processes and reports to ensure correct data is captured efficiently and optimally presented to facilitate effective decision approvals & execution.
• Data management including correct warranty terms & pricing agreements
• Dealing effectively with both Internal Customer & Supplier queries
• Working inclose co-operation Global Planning, Forecasting, & internal Logistic and warehousing
• Dealing effectively with both Internal Customer & Supplier queries
Experience Required:
5+ years multinational experience preferably in a Planning / Purchasing role
“Power User” of SAP, and strong knowledge of M.S. applications
Diploma in IIPMM/IPICS Certified
MRP, Service & SAP Experience ~ Extensive knowledge of MRP essential
Experience in a High Volume Manufacturing and/or Service Environment in a similar position
Candidates should be detail oriented, flexible , solution focused and self motivated
Ideally you will have experience in Inventory management, Planning, Procurement and Reverse Logistics environments
