The Port of Cork Company is a Semi State Company with the statutory responsibility for the development of the Port of Cork.

The Role

Reporting to the Manager Engineering Services, the Procurement Officer will provide expert procurement advice and a comprehensive service in relation to the sourcing of Goods and Services across all Departments.

Candidates must have :


· A third level qualification in Procurement / Purchasing or similar relevant qualification
· At least three years practical procurement / purchasing experience within the last 5 years.
· Wide Experience of contract management for goods and service, and monitoring supplier performance.
· Proven ability to meet targets and savings through managing and optimising company spend.
